1. Jackie Chan was injured accidentally by Bruce Lee with a Nunchuck.

Well, that’s not too hard to imagine because they are constantly flying around when the scenes are being filmed and that’s exactly how it happened.  Apparently, it was extremely painful when this occurred on the set of ‘Enter the Dragon’ whenBruce Lee accidentally hit Jackie in the nose with his Nunchuck.

Jackie’s real name is Chan Kong Shang which translates to ‘born in Hong Kong’ and he was called “Jackie” while he was working construction in Australia because nobody could pronounce his name.

2. Jackie Chan Broke His Nose Three Times!

Ouch! Well, he does perform his own stunts and therefore, he has also broken almost every finger at least once and also his ankle.  He has even broken his skull once and each of his cheekbones as well.

Another cool fact: He dubs his own English voice for his Asian movies as well as his Mandarin voice for his English movies.  Talented guy!

3. Jackie Chan Kicks His Co-Stars And Stuntmen For Real!

He does this because it is more realistic than the fake fighting we are all used to seeing. Of course, he makes them put on extra body padding to be able to withstand this abuse. He can get away with this because he owns his own stunt company and pays for the insurance for his stuntmen himself.

He is a well trained martial arts expert who is also well versed in the styles of Taekwondo, BJJ, Judo, Kapkido, Karate and Jeet Kune Do, all of which he learned from the great Bruce Lee!

4. Jackie Chan Is A Peace Loving Man.

Despite his hardcore violent appearance on camera, he has only been in one ‘real’ fight and that was because his friends and family made him do it.
